Did you know Yoga can help improve your cycling performance and help prevent and recover from injury? Intense cycling will tend to reduce flexibility and stiffen muscles and joints. This can actually reduce power and performance and make you more prone to injury.

In this short course you’ll learn how a good and simple yoga practice with expert guidance will help you to balance tone, flexibility and power and reduce injury. We will work on specific muscle groups and areas which can be problematic for cyclists including knees, glutes, backs and necks. You’ll learn in a structured and progressive way with simple take aways to help you.

This short course has been designed specifically for cyclists with Kirsten Agar Ward, Senior IYENGAR® Yoga teacher with 25 year’s teaching experience.

The course will be over 4 Saturdays in January -7th, 14th, 21st & 28th from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at The Friends’ Meeting House, Queen Parade, Harrogate, HG1 5PP. Cost £45.00 for the 4 session block.
