Walk Report

For those deciding against cycling in the very cold frosty conditions a 3 mile rural walk was arranged using the bus as transport.  Seven of us jumped aboard the Flyer from the bus station and we got off at Huby to start our planned walk.  A bit of road walking took us uphill to start on footpaths in a very secluded area.  The sky was blue and the views along the Wharfe Valley were spectacular.  A quick “on the go” coffee break was enjoyed and we continued around glacial hills and through secluded valleys, and crossed a stream.  Then it was downhill past Riffa Farm to the Leathley Farm Shop for a splendid Christmas lunch, before jumping on the bus outside the cafe for our return.  Thanks to Gia and Paul for organising our Christmas Meal Celebration.
