Route description: The first half is very flat to Northallerton before a very pleasant undulating second half below the Cleveland hills.

Travel time from Harrogate: 40mins.

Car Parking: Thirsk Millgate Car Park, Marage Road, Thirsk YO7 1PE. The cost of the car park is £4.80 for the day and the machine takes cards and cash (provided its working!).There are toilets in the car park( free) and there are cafes close by in the Town centre for an early coffee.

Toilets/Refreshments at start: Toilets are just off the Market square ( 50m). Free. There are a couple of cafes in the Square but only the Border Tea Rooms open at 9am for coffee.
