Route description: A ride in West Yorkshire that starts and finishes in the urban environment but in between has some superb views. A hilly ride that’s well worth the effort
Travel time from Harrogate: 55 minutes
Car Parking: ASDA 24 hour Superstore, Sandal, Wakefield WF2 7EQ. Please park in the top left hand corner near the big “ASDA” sign away from the main parking area.
There are no parking charges (see below)
Toilets/Refreshments at start: If you want tea/coffee and/or any food suggest you patronise the café in store and leave your receipt so it is visible on the car dash board. There are toilets in the store.
Coffee Stop: The Windmills Coffee shop and Garden Centre, Penistone (17 miles) S36 9NY. It is one of the highest points on the route with great 360° views on a clear day.
