Starting Venue: Kettlewell
Route Length: 40 miles
Climbing: 1100m
Route description: going towards Buckden, up and over Fleet Moss, Hawes, Askrigg, Aysgarth, West Burton, climb up Bishopdale down to Cray, Buckden and back to Kettlewell. The route is very steep in parts but also very scenic and all on tarmac roads.
Travel time from Harrogate: 1 hour
Car Parking: Parking is in Kettlewell (BD23 5QX). The Car Parking is £4.50 for the day.
Toilets/Refreshments at start: There are toilets in the car park (Free). There are a number of cafés in Kettlewell to get an early morning coffee..
Coffee Stop: This is a one stop ride – no coffee break options.
Lunch Stop: Lunch in Hawes (15/16 miles). A number of cafés to choose from.
