Roundhay Park and Temple Newsom (44 miles)
Out to Kirkby Overblow via Leadhall Ln, Burn Bridge, up Walton head ln, a long downhill to Harewood bridge, up through Weardley, past Eccup reservoir, rear of GSAL, across golf course, Slaid hill, down Park lane and up to Roundhay Park mansion, where we go onto the urban valley cycle paths for about 9 miles, through Roundhay park, past the lake, onto Wykebeck way, Arthur’s Rein, Killingbeck fields nature trail, Primrose valley park, Temple Newsom house and park, Colton park, across to Austhorpe fields, past the 5 new reed ponds, onto cycle path, Wood Ln to (the Arium cafe for coffee stop) out through Thorner, and quiet country lanes through Collingham, over the bridge through Linton and onto the Harland way to Spofforth, Follifoot, Rudding Ln, Crimple Ln, back to showground.
