Haverah Park & Stainburn Forest (26 miles)

Hookstone Drive, Harlow Moor Drive, Oakdale Bridge, Pennypot Lane, Left at Haverah Park sign.
Along farm track to farm and through gate to field. Steepish descent through fields to bottom and through another gate and turn left up along track with Reservoir on right. Meet road to Norwood.  Stainburn Forest.  Through forest to gate at end. Turn left and pass through 2 gates. Long downhill descent to meet B6161 and turn right to Leathley and out to Harrogate Pool road. Cross carefully to Castley road and follow road with river on right. Continue to Weeton and Dunkeswick. Turn left on to A61 until right turn to Kirkby Overblow. Through village to bypass, cross with care and back to Harrogate via A61 and Hornbeam.
