Route description: A relatively flat tour of the Yorkshire Wolds following quiet lanes for the most part. The route starts off with a climb out over Millington Woods through classic chalk downs landscape (unique to the north of England) to Huggate, the highest village in the Wolds. The route returns via Market Weighton.

Travel time from Harrogate: 1 hour 15 minutes

Car Parking: West Green Field Car Park, free of charge. What3Words: ///pulps.hobcaps.retract. Note also that West Green Car Park is further down West Green closer to the town centre but tends to be busy.

Toilets/Refreshments at start: Toilets are at the roundabout at the end of West Green going into town (300m). What3Words: ///fevered.grant.outs. For coffee, Market Street Café on Market Street (///warm.treatable.original) opens at 8:30. There is also a Costa on Market Place (en route to Market Street) amongst others.

Coffee Stop: None.

Lunch Stop: Beverley town centre; there are a number of options around Saturday Market/Market Cross (///distanced.exhaled.onions), including Café V and Vanessa Café. There are other cafes/coffee shops further down Toll Gavel (//assemble.begin.skidding).
