Route description: We ride gently down the valley to Whalley, then climb gently (mostly) around the slopes of Pendle Hill before freewheeling all the way back.

Car Parking: Bolton -by -Bowland Car Park( BB7 4NW) Cost- Free All Day.

Toilets/Refreshments at start: Toilets at the Car Park(free). The Bolton-by- Bowland Tea Room next door opens at 8.30am for pre-ride refreshments.

Coffee Stop: Cafe Autisan, Whalley Abbey ( 13miles).

Lunch Stop: Barley Visitors Centre (24miles)
