Route description: A wonderful circuit of Swaledale and a climb to Tan Hill with some great views.

Travel time from Harrogate: 1hr 15 mins

Car Parking: On the Village Green, Reeth (Free – but donation box)

Toilets/Refreshments at start: Toilets: off the Village Green (50m) small charge for use. For early start- Coffee/Tea available from the General Store off the Village green. After 9.30am a number of cafés in the village are open.

Coffee Stop: Kearton House Tea Rooms, Thwaite (10miles) DL11 6DR
The tea room opens at 11am, so if you plan to arrive before then ring and make an arrangement to open early. Tel: 01748 886277

Lunch Stop: Kirkby Stephen (22 miles) – various cafés etc to choose from in the town centre.
