Starting Venue: Reeth

Route Length: 39 miles

Climbing: 1200m

Route description: Starting in Reeth it heads into the Dales with a small amount of off-road to visit a remote tea room and then on to Barnard Castle before climbing the Strang back into Reeth. An interesting and varied ride.

Car Parking: On the Village Green, Reeth (Free -but donation box )

Toilets/Refreshments at start: Toilets: off the Village Green( 50m) small charge for use. For early start- Coffee/Tea available from the General Store off the Village green. After 9.30am a number of cafes in the village are open.

Coffee Stop: Helwith Tea Garden, Manor House Farm DL117EG ( 11 miles)
