Please complete the Membership Form and Guarantor Letter and send them to the Membership Secretary by clicking on the Send button at the bottom of both forms. You will receive an email confirming your application and containing all the information you entered.

DECLARATION

I agree to Wheel Easy Leisure Cycling Ltd holding my personal data for the following purposes:
  • communicating with me by email including the use of external GDPR-compliant bodies and understand that, occasionally, you might contact me by post or by phone;
  • my name (only) being provided to the company’s insurer for the purpose of providing ride leader insurance and, where appropriate, organiser insurance;
  • and maintaining my name and address in the company register of members as required by company law.
I will comply with the Highway Code at all times.
I understand that rides are taken at my own risk and I am responsible for my own safety in every situation, and for ensuring that both my bike and I are up to riding with Wheel Easy.

PAYMENT OF SUBSCRIPTION

Your subscription is for a year starting 1 April: £5.00
Payment of cash, or cheque made payable to Wheel Easy Leisure Cycling Limited, can be handed in to our Membership Secretary or a member of the Committee (the ride announcer will be able to help) on any ride.
Our preferred option is a BACS payment which can be made to Wheel Easy Leisure Cycling Limited, Nat West Bank, Sort Code: 53-50-21 Account No: 55498329.
The reference should be your full name.

GUARANTOR LETTER

Membership of Wheel Easy Leisure Cycling Ltd (the Company)

Wheel Easy Leisure Cycling Limited is a not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee. As such, it is owned by its Members, but there is no share issue. This has the specific benefit of limiting any liabilities of the Members to a maximum of £1 each. It is a condition of membership that all applicants become a Company Member by completing and returning the Guarantor form below to the Membership Secretary.

I, the undersigned, wish to apply to become a Member of the above Company and agree to be bound by the provisions of the Company’s Policies and Rules. In particular, I agree:
  • to guarantee the debts of the Company up to a maximum amount of £1 if the Company is wound up while I am a Member and for a period of up to 12 months after my membership ends;
  • to pay the annual membership fee levied in accordance with the Rules of the Company; and
  • to receive notice of general meetings by email.
Subject to my application being successful, I authorise you to enter my name in the Company’s Register of Members.
