Route Description:
An undulating ride in the Yorkshire Dales taking in Grassington and Littondale with one challenging climb (but do-able and worth the effort) from Halton Gill to Pen-Y-Ghent and some great views. In addition to the climb out of Littondale there are a few short steep ramps, particularly after lunch.
Travel Time:
1 hour 10 minutes (about 35 miles) from Harrogate
Car Parking:
Malham Yorkshire Dales National Park Car Park (What3Words: ///strumming.offers.selects) . Cost £7 for all day. Payment by card; cash payment not available as the visitor’s centre is not open until 10am.
Facilities at Start:
Free toilets at the Car Park. Coffee shops in Malham do not open before start time.
