Sustrans Rangers Tues 11 June

Dear Volunteers
This year’s crop of Himalayan Balsam is not quite ready for picking, although there is one patch on the Nidderdale Greenway that is ready. So, I’ve decided to leave the main Balsam Bash until next month and for next Tuesday’s session we’ll return to our old friend the Showground Greenway. There is a bit of Balsam there but it’s still very small. As usual we’ll concentrate on giving the path a good scrub-up – it usually responds well and boosts morale nicely. I attach a “before” picture to give an idea of work needed.
If you can make it, please join us at the Harrogate Fitness Centre car park off Hookstone Wood Road at 10.00 next Tuesday 11th June. The session will finish 12.00 latest, but usually we are able to have a coffee in Indulge to round the morning off.
