Medium Ride

Thanks to the hardy souls that made the Medium ride out to Yorke’s Folly (aka Two Stoops). We set off as a five but gradually dwindled as people felt the effects of cold and breezy weather. We made our way through to Beckwithshaw via the new footpath down Whinney Lane (the old road has been completely dug up). In the end just two of us made it all the way to Pateley and found that Teacups has gone outdoors as the ‘Hamster Hut’ serving coffees, teas and snacks. (Thanks to Steve for bailing me out as it’s cash only!).

Having felt the climb over Dike Lane I opted for the more undulating and less severe route back through Glasshouses and on to Ripley. It was nice to be out and thanks to all for your company. Dave M
