Audax Taster ride

The second Wheel Easy 2022 Audax Taster ride took place on Saturday May 14th. With BobJ away riding a 400k plus AndyC and ChrisBee out of action Alan Rawet and David Wilson met at the Empress and were joined by a guest rider Michael Saxby who travelled from Bedale for the 200kilometre ride. They headed down to Selby for breakfast then up to Thirsk for a late lunch passing through York and Easingwold. The final 40k back from Thirsk included a 3rd impromptu stop for refreshments at Boroughbridge. All in all an excellent ride on what was a great sunny day with temperatures around 20 degrees. The 3rd Audax taster ride is scheduled for June 11th and anyone who want to give it a try will be made very welcome indeed. These rides leave from the Empress at 07.30. Enquiries to mailto:
