The alternative route up to Duck Street

As a quieter / more sheltered alternative to Norwood Lane / Pennypot followed by Menwith Hill Rd / Meagill Lane up to Duck street; here is the suggestion. Especially recommended if there is a W-NW wind blowing.

Greenway, Hollybank Woods, Birstwith, Darley, left past the “Wellington” pub, then first right. Fairly significant climb at Thornthwaite then straight on past the little school and left on Braithwaite lane to join Duck Street.
