Who are Phoenix Peloton?

Phoenix Peloton is a new online community for the Emergency Services, NHS, Armed Forces and their supporters. People working in these organisations have jobs that are fulfilling and meaningful, they can also be incredibly stressful. As we are all becoming aware, stress can cause harm in many ways, physical, mental and emotional. Dealing with that stress requires a different approach depending on the individual and the situation. We have a number of events lined up.

Harrogate fundraising cycle

On Saturday 4th May 2024, you can ride the Phoenix Peloton Wellbeing Ride, raising funds for the Police Treatment Centres (PTC). The centres provide treatment for members of the Police following illness or injury. Almost 4000 members of the Police attend the Treatment Centres each year, mostly for intensive physiotherapy. Others seek support with stress-related conditions or anxiety and depression as part of their Psychological Wellbeing Programme.

The Phoenix Peloton Wellbeing Ride will start from the Harrogate branch of the PTC. Riders can choose from three distances: 100, 65 or 50 kilometres, over some beautiful, but tough terrain. The event is supported by Irwin Mitchell Law Firm and Bike Sporta+. The first forty riders to sign up will get a free jersey thanks to Irwin Mitchell and Bioracer.
