Nick Morton; a well loved Wheel Easy rider

Nick Morton died on Thursday 17th. March. He rode with Wheel Easy from Hornbeam until he retired when he became a regular Wednesday rider with the EGs.

He will be remembered for the cheerful presence he brought to our rides, as well as the contributions he was always ready to make to our cafe stop discussions.

Nick had been a fireman in his working life, and later, on retirement from the fire service, returned as an electrician. His illness cut short his second career.

Nick bore his illness with great bravery and in a down to Earth manner, and did not complain, even when clearly feeling unwell.

He will be sadly missed, and our condolences go out to his family.
