Medium Plus Steady Rides

Since Covid-19 several members have noticed that the Medium Plus ride options for those who like to ride at a steady pace have no leaders & accordingly those who were accustomed to riding in the old Medium Plus Group but at a steady pace have only the Medium Ride options since the post-lockdown restart.

A group have therefore got together & are re-establishing and trialling the Medium Plus Steady rides with leaders that members will probably recognise for their pace & approach. The rides will mostly follow the same route as already published on the Ride Calendar but at a more steady pace. This will offer those that want to do longer rides, more options to try new routes and to improve their cycling abilities & confidence.

As has always been the case, the ride leader may choose to vary the route or plan a completely different one from the published route, so please check the Ride Calendar. The Medium Plus Steady rota will be published in October with the leaders’ names and routes on the Ride Calendar.

Starts will be from the Showground as usual but periodically may be elsewhere in which case the information will be posted.
