9.30am Short, medium and long rides

Short/Beginners ride - Dennis Butler

Medium ride – Geraldine Bynoe & Joe Smith

Route 110 Darley, Brimham, Warsill, 33 miles.

Hornbeam. Usual route to Beckwithshaw, Little Almscliffe and down to B6451 where turn R. Continue crossing over A59 and straight on over the X roads (with Menwith Hill to the R).  1st R on Sheepcote Lane. At junction bear R.  At T junction turn R through Darley Village and then L over Hartwith toll bridge, L on B6165, R up Stripe Lane to T junction where turn L. At X roads R to Brimham Rocks, past rocks and R to Warsill and continuing on Careless House Lane  all the way to T junction. R here on Barkhouse Bank and continue to Ripley. (Café.) Return to Harrogate via the Greenway.

Medium Plus ride – Helen Bevis, Volunteer Needed

Route 196 Kirkby Malzeard, and around the Moors to Masham, 53 miles. 

Hornbeam, Greenway, Ripley, up bank to Drovers X roads and go straight on. R down Watergate Lane to Fountains Abbey visitor centre (café). Back L at Visitor Centre roundabout and turn  R then L to Aldfield, L then R at B6265 to  Low Grantley, Laverton,  Kirkby Malzeard, Grewelthorpe and  lane from top of village west to top of moors, follow edge of moors (views), drop down past Swinton Hall and golf club to Masham.  Cafe stop. Leave Masham over bridge follow Main Ripon Road short way then L up hill on B6267, 3 miles R to West Tanfield, Wath, Hutton Conyers, Ripon, Littlethorpe, Bishop Markington, Drovers Xrds, Ripley. Return along Greenway to Harrogate.
