9.30am Short, medium and long rides


Short/Beginners ride - Sue Threadgold

Medium Slow ride

Medium ride - Volunteers Needed

Route 31 Ripon, Studley, Hampsthwaite, 34 miles.    

Hornbeam, Knaresborough, Farnham, Copgrove, Bishop Monkton, Littlethorpe, through village,L into Dallamires lane (just before bridge to Boroughbridge road), R at T junction,2nd L onto Mawson Street, R at X roads to Heckler Lane (becomes Barefoot St), cross bridge, L into Borrage Lane, follow round Mallorie Park Drive. Join Studley Rd. L to Studley. Up through deer park. (cafes either by lake or at Visitor Centre). Fountains Abbey, L fork up How Hill Road. L at T junction, R to Bishop Thornton, Shaw Mills, over B6165, L at Clint to Hampsthwaite (café) and Knox to Harrogate.

Medium Plus ride - Sue Couture, Dave Siswick

Route 135 Bolton Abbey, Stumps Cross, Askwith, 55 miles.

Hornbeam, Beckwithshaw, Little Almscliff, R at T Junction. Across A59, pass Menwith Hill on R.H. side. L at crossroads on Menwith Hill Road. At end turn R and follow road to Greenhow. At T-junction turn L and follow sign to Stump Cross (café). Next L through Skyreholme and continue south to Barden Bridge where turn L towards Storiths but cross over pedestrian bridge at Cavendish Pavilion. Go L to Bolton Bridge and follow cycle track that crosses over A59 and heads for Beamsley and then leads straight on to Ilkley. Stay on north side of river and continue in an easterly direction to Askwith and Otley. Follow main road to Pool then R to Castley, Weeton, Kirby Overblow, and to Harrogate.
