After the heatwave of the last few days today was sunny and warm with a cooling breeze which was very refreshing. A total of 24 riders turned up for the first Wheel Easy! extra long leisurely bike ride which promised up to 42 miles with shorter cut off points, but in fact proved nearer 50 mile......

Shorter ride Due to new members our group was considerably larger than it had been in previous weeks. Our original plan was to head for Knaresborough, however due to the size of the group and the heat we cut it short. We rode to the end of Hornbeam Park and onto the track to Fulwith Mill Lane......
